[Remote] Freelance Product Designer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Educação Física Brasil is seeking a Freelance Product Designer to work part time and remotely on their online platform. The role involves designing intuitive interfaces, collaborating with stakeholders, and iterating on product flows to enhance user engagement with content and community features.
Responsibilities
- Design and refine digital experiences for our online platform
- Translate user needs and business goals into intuitive interfaces, wireframes, and prototypes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements
- Conduct or review user research insights
- Iterate on product flows and visual designs
- Help define design standards
- Ensure usability and accessibility
- Support continuous improvement based on user feedback and performance metrics
Skills
- Strong product-focused mindset with solid experience in Product Design and Design Thinking to solve user and business problems creatively and systematically
- Proficiency in User Research and UX Research to plan, interpret, and apply insights from interviews, surveys, and usability tests
- Demonstrated Visual Design skills, including layout, typography, color, and component design for web and mobile interfaces
- Ability to create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar)
- Understanding of responsive design, basic interaction design principles, and accessibility best practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design decisions clearly to non-design stakeholders
- Experience working remotely and managing time effectively in a freelance or part-time context
- Portfolio showcasing relevant product design projects, including process and outcomes
- Familiarity or interest in education, sports, or physical education is a plus
