As a Specialist, Government & Corporate Affairs Customer Service within the Corporate Affairs Team of the Government Affairs Division, you will be the bridge between our airline operations and the diverse stakeholders who rely on our services. Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Do Every Day

  • Promote and sell air travel: Represent arenaflex with enthusiasm, showcasing our route network, fare options, and loyalty programs to prospective and existing customers.
  • Design itineraries and manage reservations: Use the arenaflex reservation platform to create accurate travel plans, calculate fares, issue tickets, and process refunds in compliance with company policies.
  • Resolve customer inquiries: Provide clear, courteous assistance on general travel information, flight status, baggage concerns, and any other passenger needs, ensuring a mutually beneficial outcome.
  • Handle complaints and disruptions: Investigate passenger complaints, communicate flight cancellations or delays, and offer viable alternatives while maintaining a calm and empathetic tone.
  • Communicate policy updates: Keep customers informed about new regulations, corporate policies, and procedural changes that may affect their travel experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with the Government Affairs, Operations, and Legal departments to align messaging, share insights, and support strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate records: Document all interactions in the arenaflex system, ensuring data integrity for reporting and continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications – What We Require

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Policy, Aviation Management, or a related field, OR equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2‑3 years in a customer‑facing role within the airline, travel, or government liaison environment.
  • Technical proficiency: Demonstrated ability to navigate the arenaflex reservation platform (formerly SABRE) and other airline‑specific tools.
  • Leadership & organization: Proven track record of leading initiatives, managing multiple priorities, and delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written abilities, with a talent for translating complex policies into clear, customer‑friendly language.
  • Problem‑solving mindset: Resourceful and creative in resolving issues quickly, while exercising sound judgment and maintaining composure.
