  • Web & Virtual Services: Develop and sustain web‑based portals and virtual services that enable customers to monitor and control their environments remotely.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Task Management and Support teams to prioritize and resolve high‑impact incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for change management, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Field Support: Occasionally travel to on‑site locations to assist with equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting in field environments.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance system reliability, and improve the overall customer experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years hands‑on experience with SCADA systems or related industrial automation technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Fundamental knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, switches) and experience configuring network hardware.
  • Understanding of utility systems such as chilled water, steam, compressed air, HVAC, and lighting controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours when required to address urgent incidents or maintenance windows.
  • Willingness to work in varied environments, including remote field sites.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience with building automation platforms (e.g., I‑Vu).
  • Programming skills for automation systems, including scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) and GUI development.
  • Familiarity with open protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
  • Background in PLC programming, ladder logic, and industrial control logic design.
  • Exposure to broader control system architectures and integration projects.
  • Associate’s degree or certifications in a related technical discipline (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, IEC 62443).

Core Competencies

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
  • Customer‑Centric Mindset: Prioritizing the needs of the end‑user and delivering service with empathy and professionalism.
  • Team Collaboration: Working seamlessly with diverse teams across time zones and functional areas.
  • Adaptability: Thriving in a fast‑changing environment and embracing new technologies and processes.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintaining accurate documentation and following rigorous change‑control procedures.
