Key Responsibilities

  • Process a variety of medical documents—including Independent Medical Reviews, physician notes, and claim forms—by extracting relevant data and entering it into the designated electronic database using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and external clients to clarify ambiguous information, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure completeness of each case.
  • Conduct outbound phone outreach to healthcare providers, patients, or insurance representatives to obtain missing documentation or clarification, maintaining a professional and empathetic tone.
  • Maintain strict adherence to data‑entry standards, confidentiality protocols, and industry‑specific compliance requirements (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.).
