Position Overview

arenaflex is hiring Remote Data Entry Specialists to support our growing portfolio of data management projects. This is a fully remote role available in both full-time and part-time capacities, designed for individuals who thrive in structured, independent work environments. As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for inputting, verifying, and maintaining information across multiple internal and client-facing databases.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy routine-driven work, take satisfaction in producing error-free output, and want to be part of a supportive remote team that values quality over speed alone. Whether you're an experienced data professional or someone looking to launch a long-term career in administrative and information management, this position offers the training, structure, and growth pathways to help you succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain large volumes of information across various company databases, spreadsheets, and digital record systems.
  • Review source documents, digital files, and submitted forms to verify the completeness and correctness of information before entry.
  • Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, and missing data entries, escalating complex issues to supervisors when necessary.
  • Organize and manage both digital and electronic records, ensuring that files are properly labeled, stored, and easily retrievable.
  • Conduct routine quality checks and audits on entered data to maintain a high standard of accuracy and compliance with company protocols.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, supervisors, and occasionally clients to clarify information, resolve discrepancies, and provide status updates.
  • Follow established arenaflex data entry procedures, confidentiality guidelines, and quality standards at all times.
  • Generate basic reports, summaries, and data extracts as requested by management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive, proprietary, or client-related information.
  • Adapt to evolving project requirements, new software platforms, and shifting deadlines with a flexible and solution-oriented mindset.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Proven experience in a data entry, administrative, or clerical role, with a demonstrated track record of accuracy and reliability.
  • Excellent typing skills, with a minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute and a low error rate.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Solid understanding of digital file management, basic spreadsheet functions, and online form handling.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot inconsistencies, typos, and formatting errors quickly.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace suitable for focused remote work.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet daily and weekly productivity targets.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration, information management, accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as Google Workspace, Dropbox, or similar collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, ERP platforms, or specialized data management software.
  • Prior experience in a fully remote or hybrid work environment.
  • Basic knowledge of data privacy standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or similar regulatory frameworks.
  • Typing speed of 60+ words per minute with exceptional accuracy.

Skills and Competencies for Success

  • Accuracy-First Mindset: You understand that in data work, getting it right the first time is always the priority.
  • Focus and Concentration: You can sustain attention on repetitive tasks without losing quality or pace.
  • Time Management: You know how to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and stay productive throughout the workday.
  • Adaptability: You're comfortable learning new systems, adjusting to new workflows, and embracing change.
  • Communication: You can clearly articulate issues, ask the right questions, and keep supervisors informed.
  • Problem-Solving: When data doesn't add up, you know how to investigate, troubleshoot, and find answers.
  • Integrity: You treat confidential information with the seriousness it deserves.
