Our mission drives every employee to innovate, collaborate, and deliver exceptional service to millions of passengers each year. As part of arenaflex’s commitment to a modern, flexible workforce, we offer remote and hybrid roles that empower talent across the United States to thrive from the comfort of their own homes while contributing to the safety and efficiency of our flight operations.

Why This Role Matters

The Integrated Data Analyst position is a cornerstone of arenaflex’s Flight Operations Safety ecosystem. By serving as the subject‑matter expert for the Integrated Data Collection and Analysis Tool (IDCAT), you will transform raw flight data into actionable insights that shape training programs, enhance safety protocols, and support the Advanced Qualification Program (AQP). Your analytical storytelling will directly influence how arenaflex pilots, instructors, and evaluators train, evaluate, and maintain the highest standards of aviation safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Submission & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate filing of monthly FAA reports, adhering to regulatory deadlines and internal quality standards.
  • IDCAT Administration: Manage all aspects of the IDCAT software, including user support, comment tracking, and data entry for Flight Instructors and Evaluators during observation sessions.
  • Dashboard Development: Download raw Tableau data to arenaflex’s secure server, populate and maintain up‑to‑date dashboards that visualize key performance metrics for senior leadership.
  • Data Analysis & Visualization: Analyze complex datasets, create compelling Tableau workbooks, and present findings that highlight trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Instructor/Evaluator Metrics: Categorize and track instructor and evaluator performance data, supporting continuous improvement initiatives within Flight Ops Training.
  • Form Management: Support the design, maintenance, and data collection processes for IDCAT observation forms, ensuring consistency and data integrity.
  • Regulatory Analysis: Conduct daily training data analyses as defined in AC 120‑54A, identifying effectiveness gaps and recommending corrective actions.
  • Quarterly Review Support: Assist the Data Integration Group (DIG) and AQP teams with quarterly data reviews, preparing reports and responding to ad‑hoc data requests.
  • Inter‑Rater Reliability: Execute IDCAT inter‑rater reliability assessments, facilitating content updates and ensuring consistent evaluation standards.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with Flight Operations, Safety, Training, and IT teams to align data initiatives with broader corporate objectives.
  • Special Projects: Undertake additional duties as assigned by leadership, contributing to continuous improvement and innovation across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Aviation Management, Statistics, or a related field. High school diploma or GED is also required.
  • Experience: Minimum 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience in data analysis, visualization, and database management, preferably within the aviation or transportation industry.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Tableau (or comparable BI tools), Alteryx, SQL, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large, complex datasets with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Statistical Knowledge: Solid understanding of statistical concepts and quantitative methods; ability to apply them to real‑world aviation data.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings to non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated success working in cross‑functional teams, building relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proven track record of identifying root causes, developing solutions, and executing initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Eligibility: U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the United States; no sponsorship available.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills

  • Experience with aviation safety programs, flight training, or the Advanced Qualification Program (AQP).
  • Familiarity with FAA reporting requirements and AC 120‑54A guidelines.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality assurance, and data security best practices.
  • Ability to develop automated data pipelines and streamline data collection workflows.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying current with emerging data analytics technologies.
