As the Director of Customer Acquisition, you will be the strategic engine that drives new user growth, converts free adopters into paying customers, and unlocks revenue potential across arenaflex’s suite of products. You will own the end‑to‑end acquisition funnel, from the first touchpoint on partner sites to the final upsell on our platform. Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize New‑User Flows: Diagnose and refine the onboarding journey from host partners to increase the free‑to‑paid conversion rate, leveraging A/B testing, behavioral analytics, and user‑experience design.
  • Scale Paid Media Campaigns: Design, launch, and iterate on multi‑channel paid acquisition programs—including SEM, paid social, video, display, and emerging platforms—while continuously improving ROI and cost‑per‑acquisition metrics.
  • Grow Organic Traffic: Lead content‑driven SEO, community outreach, and inbound marketing initiatives that boost organic website visits and nurture them into qualified leads.
  • Leverage Marketplace Listings: Harness arenaflex’s presence in key ecosystem entry points (formerly WordPress plugin directories) to capture high‑intent users and funnel them into the acquisition pipeline.
  • Expand Revenue Through Upsell: Develop targeted incentive programs, in‑app messaging, and personalized offers that encourage free users to upgrade to premium tiers.
  • Generate Insight‑Driven Creative: Partner with design and copy teams to produce compelling ad creatives, landing pages, and email sequences informed by data insights.
  • Discover New Growth Channels: Experiment with innovative ad formats, funnel architectures, and partnership opportunities to uncover untapped sources of acquisition.
  • Mentor & Lead the Team: Coach a small, high‑performing growth team, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Own Measurement Framework: Build and maintain a robust analytics stack that tracks attribution, estimates impact, and reports performance to senior leadership.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 8‑10 years of progressive experience in performance marketing, growth, or acquisition leadership roles, preferably within SaaS or platform businesses.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling both paid and organic acquisition channels to achieve double‑digit growth in user numbers and revenue.
  • Deep analytical expertise: comfortable working with large data sets, building attribution models, and translating raw numbers into actionable strategy.
  • Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—with a proven ability to craft persuasive copy for ads, landing pages, and internal presentations.
  • Strong project‑management capabilities: ability to set clear milestones, coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders, and deliver initiatives on time and within budget.
  • Leadership experience that includes mentoring junior marketers, fostering a collaborative team environment, and championing a growth mindset.
  • Passion for solving complex problems, discovering hidden opportunities, and helping users succeed.
  • Familiarity with the arenaflex ecosystem (formerly WordPress) is a plus, including experience building sites or contributing to open‑source projects.

  • Hands‑on experience with modern marketing tech stacks (e.g., Google Analytics 4, Snowflake, Looker, Segment, Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager).
  • Track record of launching successful brand‑level campaigns that balance short‑term acquisition goals with long‑term brand equity.
  • Understanding of subscription economics, LTV/CAC ratios, and churn mitigation tactics.
  • Experience working in fully remote, distributed teams and navigating cultural differences across continents.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles, ensuring campaigns resonate with diverse audiences.

Compensation, Perks & Benefits
