About the Role: Remote Customer Experience Specialist

We are hiring entry-level Remote Customer Experience Specialists to join our dynamic contact center team. In this role, your primary mission is to deliver outstanding support to policyholders by addressing their insurance questions, processing policy changes, and resolving billing inquiries. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Serve as the first point of contact for policyholders via inbound phone calls, providing courteous, accurate, and timely assistance with insurance and billing inquiries.
  • Promote Digital Self-Service: Proactively educate customers on digital tools and self-service options that enhance their experience and streamline their interactions with arenaflex.
  • Own the Customer Experience: Take ownership of every call to ensure that each caller's needs are met or exceeded, treating every touchpoint as an opportunity to build lasting value and strengthen the arenaflex brand.
  • Process Policy Changes and Billing Requests: Accurately document and process updates to customer accounts, including policy modifications, payment arrangements, and billing adjustments.
  • Master Insurance Products and Processes: Participate fully in our structured training environment to develop a deep understanding of insurance products, systems, and customer service best practices.
  • Maintain Schedule Commitment: Adhere to training and post-training schedules, demonstrating reliability and dedication to your role and team.
  • Create a Professional Workspace: Maintain a dedicated, distraction-free home workspace that supports focused, high-quality customer interactions.
  • Navigate Multiple Systems: Utilize various software platforms and tools to access customer information, process requests, and resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Empathize and Problem-Solve: Demonstrate empathy, active listening, and critical thinking to understand customer needs and deliver personalized solutions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Customer Service Background: A demonstrated history of providing excellent service in a customer-facing role such as call center, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or related field.
  • Tech-Savvy and Adaptable: Ability to learn new software systems quickly and navigate multiple programs simultaneously in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a natural talent for empathizing with customers and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail, with the ability to assess situations and deliver effective solutions.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may shift and new challenges arise regularly.
  • Educational Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
  • Remote Work Readiness: Must have a dedicated workspace free from distractions and reliable high-speed internet (minimum upload/download speeds of 10Mbps/100Mbps) with a hardwired ethernet connection.
  • Location Requirement: Must reside within a commutable distance to one of our office hubs in San Antonio, TX; Charlotte, NC; Lake Mary, FL; Naperville, IL; or Hartford, CT to support occasional in-person collaboration and networking opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Spanish Bilingual Skills: Fluency in Spanish is a strong plus, as we serve a diverse customer base.
  • Insurance Industry Experience: Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
  • Sales or Upselling Aptitude: Experience identifying opportunities to add value for customers is a plus.

Training and Schedule Details

  • Start Date: November 4, 2024
  • Training Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM EST (First 8 weeks mandatory attendance)
  • Post-Training Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM EST, working every other Saturday from 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM EST, with Thursday as your compensated day off.
  • Base Pay: $22 per hour, with opportunities for performance-based growth and advancement.

Compensation and Growth Potential

The annualized base pay range for this role is $40,685 – $61,027, depending on factors such as performance, proficiency, and demonstrated competencies. Base pay is just one component of arenaflex's comprehensive total compensation package. Employees may also be eligible for short-term and annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition awards that reward exceptional contributions.
