What You Will Do

As a Remote Medical Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, your core mission is to ensure that every piece of medical information flowing through our systems is captured accurately, stored securely, and organized in a way that healthcare professionals can rely on without hesitation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate Data Input: Enter patient demographics, medical histories, diagnoses, treatment codes, lab results, and other clinical data into electronic health record (EHR) systems and proprietary databases with a high degree of precision.
  • Quality Verification: Carefully review source documents — including physician notes, intake forms, and referral paperwork — to confirm accuracy before entering information into any system.
  • Record Maintenance: Update existing patient records, correct discrepancies, and ensure all information is current, consistent, and properly categorized.
  • Information Retrieval: Quickly and accurately pull up patient charts and records upon request from authorized healthcare providers, billing teams, or other approved personnel.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality by strictly adhering to HIPAA regulations and arenaflex's internal data security protocols at all times.
  • Data Security: Follow established backup and security procedures to ensure that sensitive medical information is protected from loss, theft, or unauthorized access.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Communicate regularly with physicians, nurses, billing specialists, and other healthcare stakeholders to clarify information and resolve data discrepancies.
