[Remote] Senior AI Engineer in Content Intelligence Applications

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EPAM Systems is seeking a talented Senior AI Engineer to join their team focused on developing advanced content intelligence applications. This role involves leveraging state-of-the-art diffusion models for content generation and analysis while building robust frameworks and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain content intelligence applications utilizing diffusion models for automated content generation and analysis
• Build and enhance harnesses and pipelines for model training, evaluation and deployment, leveraging platforms like Firefly
• Development of intelligent agents and agentic workflows to automate and optimize content-related tasks
• Architect and implement MCPs for scalable and modular content processing
• Creation and maintenance of evaluation frameworks to assess model and agent performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate content intelligence solutions into broader product ecosystems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI, diffusion models and content intelligence technologies

Skills

• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with strong programming skills in Python and a track record of building and deploying machine learning models
• Hands-on expertise in generative AI models, especially diffusion models (e.g., Stable Diffusion, Denoising Diffusion Probabilistic Models)
• Familiarity with content generation and analysis techniques, including NLP and computer vision
• Background in agent frameworks and building agentic workflows (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI Agents, custom agent architectures)
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining evaluation frameworks for AI models
• Skills in orchestration tools and harnesses for model training and deployment (e.g., Firefly, MLflow, Kubeflow)
• Strong problem-solving skills and capability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration and documentation
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence or a related field
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalable AI deployment
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
