[Remote] Account Executive (MRI-Simmons)

As an Account Executive within the Agency team, you will support the growth of client partnerships by evangelizing MRI-Simmons solutions and delivering exceptional client service while driving revenue through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep expertise across the full suite of MRI‑Simmons products in order to deliver best‑in‑class client support
- Build and maintain positive, trusting, and collaborative relationships with assigned clients
- Serve as the day‑to‑day client contact, coordinating ongoing support and account needs
- Lead and coordinate account reviews, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs)
- Drive revenue growth through upselling and expansion of MRI‑Simmons solutions and building/expanding relationships with key agency departments: Strategy, Research, Media, Planning, Investment
- Coordinate and deliver client training on MRI‑Simmons software, data, and activation products
- Communicate effectively with clients in both written and verbal formats, delivering a consistently high level of service
- Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership and internal teams to identify and execute on revenue‑generating opportunities
- Stay current on client initiatives to ensure successful delivery, follow‑up, and development of case studies
- Leverage MRI‑Simmons data to align with client strategies, identify new business opportunities, participate in client meetings, and deliver actionable insights
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business, customers, and objectives—and how MRI‑Simmons solutions can support them
- Create insightful presentations that educate clients on MRI‑Simmons capabilities, data assets, and resources
- Prepare integrated, research‑based presentations and proposals that position MRI‑Simmons as a strategic consultant and partner
- Partner with Sales Account Directors to identify strategic opportunities using a combination of industry insights and MRI‑Simmons data
Skills
- 3-5 years of sales/account management experience within market research, advanced advertising, media, or a related industry (syndicated and/or custom research experience preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build relationships and apply consultative selling techniques
- Ability to present, synthesize, and tell a compelling story with data
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Solid business acumen, problem-solving ability, and analytical mindset
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Media, or a related field
- Working knowledge of syndicated consumer data and the programmatic space
