[Remote] EverCommerce - Engineering Manager, Business Intelligence

They are seeking a talented BI Engineering Manager to lead and optimize their Business Intelligence engineering team, driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of BI engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring professional growth and skill development
• Develop and implement the BI strategy, aligning with the organization’s business objectives and driving improvements in data analysis and reporting capabilities
• Oversee the delivery of BI projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of BI solutions, including data warehouses, data models, and ETL tools
• Work closely with data engineering, data product managers, and other stakeholders across departments to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable BI solutions
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of data within BI systems, implementing best practices and industry standards
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance BI capabilities

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in BI engineering or related roles
• 2+ years in a managerial or team lead position
• Strong proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling
• Proven track record in managing and mentoring a team
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in managing projects using methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Master's degree
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
