[Remote] Inside Sales Account Manager

The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for owning and growing a defined territory of mid-market accounts, focusing on expanding existing customers through upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Owning and growing a defined territory of named mid-market accounts
- Expanding existing customers through upsell, cross-sell, and multi-site deployments of ChargePoint’s EV charging hardware, software, and services
- Engaging directly with customers
- Collaborating cross-functionally
- Leveraging channel partners to drive both expansion revenue and selective new customer acquisition within your territory
Skills
- 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience in an Account Manager, Account Executive, or similar role
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets through account expansion
- Experience selling complex solutions, including hardware, software, or infrastructure-based offerings
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to manage multi-stakeholder buying groups
- Proficiency with CRM tools, pipeline management, and sales forecasting
- Experience operating in a territory-based sales model
- Familiarity with channel or partner-led sales motions
- Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business and financial ROI
- Experience in EV, energy, infrastructure, high-tech, or SaaS industries
- Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success
