Building a New Era of Accessible Mental Healthcare Empowering Providers and Patients Through Innovative Technology Headway is seeking a Senior Counsel, Regulatory to serve as a strategic legal partner during a pivotal phase of growth. This role is central to Headway’s mission of transforming mental healthcare access by supporting the development of technology that enables over 75,000 providers to serve more than one million patients nationwide. As Senior Counsel, Regulatory, you will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Privacy teams, providing real-time guidance on clinical practice, telehealth, and regulatory implications for product development. You will act as the primary regulatory attorney for Clinical and Operations teams, translating complex healthcare regulations into actionable guidance and tools. Your expertise will help anticipate regulatory challenges, develop proactive solutions, and position legal guidance as a business enabler. Key responsibilities include partnering on policy development, audit response, and remediation strategies, as well as building strong cross-functional relationships to support Headway’s mission-driven work. The ideal candidate brings significant healthcare regulatory experience, particularly in health technology, corporate practice of medicine, and behavioral health, with a proven ability to balance compliance and business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
