Director, Information Technology Infrastructure
Position Summary: The Director, IT Infrastructure, will be responsible for overseeing, planning, and managing the organization’s IT infrastructure and technical support teams. The incumbent will drive actionable insights and fuel organizational growth. The Director, IT Infrastructure provides guidance and leadership in shaping the organization's long-term goals and objectives, including developing and executing plans that align with the company's mission, vision, and values, while ensuring that resources are utilized effectively and efficiently. Role and Responsibilities: Successfully leads and implements infrastructure transformation projects to enable the organization to operate in highly scalable ways. Develops, implements, and oversees the strategic direction of the IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network resources. Ensures the function provides efficient and effective technical support services across the organization. Implements and maintains IT infrastructure policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Collaborates cross-functionally to assess and address the organization's technology needs. Ensures high availability and performance of IT systems and infrastructure. Manages IT infrastructure projects from conception to implementation and evaluation. Develops and manages the functional budget and ensures resources and assets are managed within the approved budget. Stays abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation. Identifies, develops, and implements improvements in processes or policies and ensures adoption within the function and organization. Collaborates in hiring activities including candidate selection, participation in panel and individual interviews, and making hiring decisions. Supports collaborators in all aspect of training and development including performance, behaviors, competencies, and alignment. Participates in the successful implementation of functional projects as they arise. Qualifications and Education Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Demonstrated a minimum of ten years of experience in IT infrastructure and support roles is required. Demonstrated a minimum of five years of experience in a leadership or managerial role is required. Demonstrated a minimum of five years of experience in IT infrastructure planning and development. Demonstrated a minimum of five years of experience in systems and network architecture, information security principles, and IT best practices. Demonstrated experience conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is required. Nice to have COBIT and ITIL Budgeted Hiring Range $154,000—$168,000 USD All new hires are required to attend New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah.
