This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned data professional to architect large-scale, cloud-based analytics solutions while influencing strategic decisions across business, engineering, and executive leadership. If you are passionate about building high-quality data pipelines, defining architectural standards, and driving data-driven innovation, this role is built for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously refine enterprise-wide data artifacts, including conceptual, logical, and physical data models, data flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and technical metadata repositories.
- Deeply understand enterprise information needs and translate business requirements into scalable, future-ready data architecture blueprints.
- Maintain and evolve the Enterprise Data Model, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory standards, and analytical priorities.
- Analyze and harmonize data models across multiple business units, ensuring consistency, reusability, and adherence to governance frameworks.
- Define, document, and maintain the Data Technology Architecture, including storage, processing, and consumption layers across hybrid and cloud environments.
- Architect and govern the Data Integration Architecture, enabling seamless ingestion from diverse sources, including APIs, third-party platforms, transactional systems, and streaming pipelines.
- Design and oversee the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) Architecture to deliver trusted, performant, and self-service analytics capabilities.
- Establish and enforce enterprise taxonomies, naming conventions, and namespaces that promote data discoverability and semantic clarity.
- Build and maintain the Meta-data Architecture, ensuring full lineage, traceability, and transparency across the data estate.
- Conceptualize the overarching data architectural framework for large, complex analytical workloads spanning the entire enterprise.
- Translate business, application, information, reporting, and analytical requirements into architectural solutions that meet performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency goals.
- Continuously monitor emerging trends, tools, and best practices in the data and analytics market, evaluating their potential to enhance internal systems, infrastructure, and capabilities.
- Design and implement technical standards for deployed data systems, ensuring long-term maintainability, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Plan and lead large-scale architectural enhancements, serving as the technical project manager for cross-functional initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to optimize data models, refine ELT/ETL processes, and drive an end-to-end data integration strategy.
- Participate in defining the Future State data architecture vision, including standards, guidelines, and guiding principles for the organization.
- Optimize query performance and ELT/ETL pipelines, enhancing batch jobs to support near real-time data processing where required.
- Build high-quality, production-grade data pipelines that power advanced analytic solutions and decision-support systems.
- Drive architectural decisions for the data platform, influencing tooling selection, technology adoption, and development standards.
