Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Remote Customer Experience Specialist to join arenaflex’s digital service hub. This full‑time, work‑from‑home role offers a competitive hourly rate of $30 and the opportunity to shape the way travelers interact with our brand across multiple channels. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, leverage cloud‑based tools, and apply your technical expertise to ensure every customer interaction is smooth, supportive, and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Proof‑of‑Concept (PoC) and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) initiatives to validate new architectures, ensuring they meet arenaflex’s performance and scalability goals.
  • Write, review, and maintain clean, efficient code across front‑end and back‑end technologies, actively participating in peer code reviews.
  • Analyze user requirements to translate business needs into robust software designs and functional specifications.
  • Debug existing applications, identify root‑cause issues, and implement corrective fixes in a timely manner.
  • Provide guidance on documentation standards and continuous improvement processes for software development.
  • Design and develop new features or enhance existing functionalities, adhering to arenaflex’s coding standards and security policies.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to deliver high‑quality software increments on a regular cadence.
  • Architect, develop, and maintain web applications on arenaflex cloud infrastructure, ensuring they are scalable, fault‑tolerant, and performant.
  • Leverage arenaflex services (compute, storage, database, and content delivery) to build resilient solutions.
  • Collaborate with the development team to optimize applications for speed, reliability, and cost‑efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure‑related incidents, providing rapid remediation and root‑cause analysis.
  • Partner with cross‑functional groups—including Product, Operations, and Security—to continuously improve system architecture and design.
  • Stay current with emerging trends in cloud computing, web development, and aviation technology, proactively recommending enhancements.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Need to Succeed)

  • Strong experience with web development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework (e.g., Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Django).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands‑on experience with arenaflex services such as compute, storage, relational databases, and content delivery networks.
  • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud‑native design principles.
  • Solid knowledge of relational databases and SQL query optimization.
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
