The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing strategic accounts, and collaborating with global teams to support customer development.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and win new business opportunities within the Consumer Goods market
- Grow strategic accounts and build relationships with engineering, purchasing, and executive stakeholders
- Lead material conversion and specification projects from concept through commercialization
- Collaborate with global teams to support customer development and business growth
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities
- Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and CRM activities
Skills
- 5+ years of B2B sales and business development experience in engineering plastics, polymers, resins, or related materials
- Proven success developing new business and growing strategic accounts
- Experience managing technical, project-based sales cycles
- Strong ability to engage both engineering and commercial decision-makers
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical discipline
- Background in engineering thermoplastics, polyamides, injection molding, or product development
