[Remote] Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a Project Manager to oversee IT projects while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, quality, budget, and schedule goals. This role involves applying professional project management principles and collaborating with various stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform low to moderately complex projects in accordance to the SPP34 Series and delegated approval to work on IT projects through the IT Project Approval Board (PAB) and TVA Project Review Board, if applicable
• Perform necessary training as documented in the SPP 34 series
• Act as the primary point of contact for each project and assume the leadership role in managing the project
• Ensure safety, environmental, quality, budget, and schedule goals are met, or function within a larger project
• Apply professional principles, practices, and techniques; may supervise others; set direction and prioritize resources to meet TVA’s objectives
• Responsible for the overall planning, coordination, monitoring and controlling, quality, implementation, execution, and completion, within cost and schedule, of assigned projects
• Guide and inform decisions based on resource availability and project objectives
• Achieve successful project outcomes through collaboration, negotiation, and influencing of assigned project teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, business management, technical field, or equivalent education, training and/or related work experience
• 5-years utility project manager experience, or equivalent functional area work experience with increasing levels of responsibility
• Knowledge of Information Technology project management techniques, experience to solve complex problems, and practical experience in project scoping and cost estimating
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and determine the most effective solution
• CAPM required, PMP expected
