[Remote] Mid/Senior Web3 QA Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. LI.FI is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality of their products and provide a seamless user experience. The role involves designing testing strategies, creating automation test suites, managing bugs, and collaborating with both the QA and development teams to uphold quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust testing strategies for REST APIs and backend services, ensuring performance, reliability, and security across integrations
- Create automation test suites to cover our different endpoints
- Collaborate with our existing QA team to uphold and evolve our testing standards
- Ensure high-quality standards for software solutions and newly added features
- Manage and track known bugs to resolution
- Identify and communicate product issues, proposing solutions to improve the overall experience
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure quality assurance procedures are consistently followed
- Work closely with product and tech lead to bring a shift-left approach to the team
- Draft and maintain clear and comprehensive testing documentation
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in QA, with at least 3 years in Web3, and a strong background in REST API and web application testing
- Knowledge of emerging technologies in the blockchain space and a desire to continuously expand expertise
- Proficiency in Git, GitHub (Actions), TypeScript, Playwright, and Postman
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective team and stakeholder interactions
- Ability to work both independently and within a team, with a self-driven approach to day-to-day tasks
- Openness to learning and adapting to new changes quickly
- Tech-savvy, with the ability to understand development changes and ensure compatibility across features
- Ideally, some experience with Linear and familiarity with quality assurance tools
