[Remote] Sales Specialist, Federal Government

They are seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to identify and develop new business opportunities within the federal government sector, focusing on Westlaw and CoCounsel sales.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and identify mid-contract and new sales opportunities in the public sector
- Conduct research to identify key decision-makers and influencers within target agencies
- Develop a deep understanding of Westlaw and CoCounsel capabilities and tailor sales pitches to the unique needs of government agencies
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate accounts within and outside the normal buying process
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment to progress and close sales
- Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets for Westlaw and CoCounsel sales
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline and forecast reports
- Stay informed about market trends, competition, and industry best practices
Skills
- Proven track record of success in a sales role, ideally within the legal technology or federal government software sectors
- Strong understanding of legal technology and its applications within government agencies
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct business professionally both in-person and remotely
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Bachelor's degree required
- Familiarity with legal technology solutions, particularly CoCounsel
- J.D. preferred
