Position Overview

The Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative at arenaflex is a key contributor to our customer experience strategy. Reporting to the Call Center Leadership Team, this role is responsible for receiving inbound calls, providing accurate information, resolving inquiries, processing requests, and ensuring that every customer interaction reflects the highest standards of professionalism, empathy, and product knowledge.

This position is contract-funded and may be subject to renewal periods based on organizational and client requirements. The role is fully remote, giving you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while delivering exceptional service to customers across multiple communication channels.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Inbound Call Management: Receive and respond to a high volume of inbound customer calls in a timely, professional, and courteous manner, following established scripts and protocols while personalizing interactions to meet customer needs.
  • Product & Service Expertise: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of arenaflex products, services, and support offerings to deliver accurate, helpful, and thorough guidance to every caller.
  • Multi-Channel Customer Support: Engage with customers via phone, email, written correspondence, web forms, and live chat, ensuring a seamless and consistent experience across all touchpoints.
  • Order Processing & Inquiry Resolution: Accurately process orders, respond to general inquiries, troubleshoot issues, handle complaints, and provide information in accordance with company procedures and service level agreements.
  • Documentation & Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions within the company’s CRM and call tracking systems.
  • Decision-Making Within Guidelines: Use established policies, procedures, and reference materials to make sound decisions on customer requests, knowing when to escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
  • Goal Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed individual and departmental performance goals, including call quality standards, response times, customer satisfaction scores, and service level agreements.
  • Confidentiality & Compliance: Handle all customer and organizational information with the strictest confidentiality, adhering to all security protocols, privacy policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay current on product updates, service enhancements, and procedural changes by participating in ongoing training, coaching sessions, and team development activities.
  • Adaptability: Work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable shifts to meet the needs of our customers and operational demands.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with peers, supervisors, management, and other departments to share insights, provide feedback, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as needed to support the team and the organization.

Essential Functions

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, social work, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Experience: Prior customer service experience is strongly preferred, particularly in a call center, help desk, or customer-facing environment. Experience working remotely is a plus.
  • Assistive Technology: Prior experience with assistive technologies such as JAWS and MAGIC for visual adaptation is highly desirable, though training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Bilingual Capability: Bilingual or multilingual skills are a significant plus, as they allow us to better serve our diverse customer base.
