Mission & Info Systems Engineer
BAE Systems is a global leader in defence, aerospace and security solutions. As a Mission & Information Systems Engineer, you will support the team in delivering mission system capabilities with a focus on simulation for training and rehearsal, while contributing to the design and documentation of integrated aircraft mission systems.
Responsibilities
- Create design artefacts for reviews
- Assist with inputs to management and technical updates
- Support model and design work using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Help with requirements and Air System Specification
- Support risk, issues, and actions tracking
- Assist with team outputs and stakeholder communication
- Work with and learn from senior engineers on daily tasks
Skills
- HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant STEM subject (Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Physics/Maths/Science)
- Experience in aerospace or a related engineering/technology field
- Understanding of systems engineering and lifecycle processes
- Ability to analyse and apply system design data to problems
- Knowledge of mission systems and simulation tools
