Job Overview As a Data Entry Support Specialist - GIS, you'll be responsible for managing the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's GIS, producing maps, and collaborating with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to drive data-driven decisions. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Bureau of Parks & Conservation's GIS, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data
• Produce high-quality maps and visualizations using Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
• Collaborate with Tennessee State Parks staff and various divisions to drive data-driven decisions
• Contribute to innovative GIS projects, leveraging your expertise in geospatial analysis and cartographic design
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and problem-solving
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in GIS and geospatial analysis Knowledge & Skills
• Proficiency with Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
• Strong cartographic design and geospatial analysis skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with GIS data formats and spatial analysis techniques Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Earth Science, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience required
• Equivalent experience may substitute education
• Proven track record of success in GIS and geospatial analysis
