You will design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that ingest, transform, and deliver high‑quality data to downstream analytics, model training, and product teams. Key Responsibilities

Design and implement end‑to‑end data pipelines that reliably capture user interaction events, product usage metrics, and other critical signals into our centralized data lake. Develop and maintain curated datasets aligned with key product metrics such as user growth, engagement, and revenue, ensuring they are production‑ready for analytics and model training. Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, data science, product, marketing, finance, and research teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored solutions. Build resilient, fault‑tolerant ingestion frameworks using modern streaming and batch technologies, guaranteeing data freshness and consistency. Participate in data modeling and schema design , creating logical and physical data models that support both analytical queries and machine‑learning workloads. Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance by adhering to industry standards, internal policies, and privacy regulations. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance, reducing latency and cost while maintaining high reliability. Document architecture, processes, and best practices to foster knowledge sharing across the organization.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering, such as Python, Scala, or Java . Hands‑on experience with distributed processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Apache Flink ) and storage systems (e.g., HDFS, Amazon S3 ). Familiarity with ETL orchestration tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect . Strong understanding of SQL and the ability to write, debug, and optimize complex queries. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building data pipelines for machine‑learning workloads, especially for large language models. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related services such as Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake. Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). Understanding of data governance, privacy (GDPR, CCPA), and security best practices. Previous work in a fast‑growing AI or SaaS company, preferably in a remote‑first setting.
