The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, executing, and analyzing complex experiments related to molecular biology, with a focus on therapeutic target identification and validation. Responsibilities include leading research projects from conception to completion, developing novel experimental protocols, troubleshooting technical issues, and interpreting data to draw meaningful conclusions. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior scientists, preparing scientific reports and publications, and presenting findings at internal and external scientific meetings. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of molecular biology techniques, including PCR, qPCR, Western blotting, ELISA, gene editing (CRISPR/Cas9), and cell culture. Experience with high-throughput screening and bioinformatics analysis is a significant plus. A strong publication record and experience in grant writing are highly desirable. This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
