The Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting customers with pre/post-sale questions, basic installations, and problem resolutions. Typical activities are the receiving of calls, emails and web chats from Customers who may be inquiring about product related questions and issues. The Representative will be directly responsible for guiding and assisting all customers. The Representative should focus on following guidelines, using their time effectively and following-up with Customers in a timely manner. Schedule: (M-F) 11:00am – 8:00pm EST, 8:00am - 5:00pm PST This role is approved to be fully remote and can be based anywhere in the United States. Responsibilities: Effectively utilize Customer Relationship Management through Salesforce CRM and via phone. Demonstrate excellent customer service by answering calls from internal and external customers for general information, addressing and resolving concerns or questions Identify and escalate priority issues to appropriate channels Provide website support including troubleshooting issues and administer guidance on website features Provide both pre and post order support for our Ferguson.com guest customers. Additional Duties: Actively seek opportunities to enhance processes and improve customer satisfaction Contribute to achieving or surpassing team goals and targets Maintain reliable transportation to work in-office and ensure stable internet when working remote Adhere to company policies, procedures and guidelines related to customer service, data privacy and security Qualifications: Customer service experience preferred Must possess strong communication skills, including the ability to read, write, comprehend, and compose professional emails Able to manage time, priorities, and workload both independently and with supervision Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and consistency Exhibit a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions Capacity to quickly learn company systems, platforms and processes Skilled in digital literacy including Microsoft Office, Salesforce experience a plus At Ferguson, we care for each other. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience. - $15.00 - $19.04- Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles. - This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible. - Ferguson complies with all wage regulations.
