ACT Test Prep Content Creator (Seeking US College Student)

About us ?? Welcome to 5 Academy! We're a college-student-run ACT-prep startup specializing in software and elite 1-on-1 tutoring that renders students fast improvement. We create practice problems, videos, study plans, and practice tests that help students learn the exam inside and out. Currently recruiting a content creator to help us grow our YouTube channel (youtube.com/5academy... We'll guide you through our content-development and -refinement process. It's simple work, but it takes time and an understanding of the skills on the ACT, which we'll fill you in on. If you feel like you're well-versed in the ACT's content or its skills, we'd love to have you onboard! ?? We're particularly interested in candidates who performed well on the SAT/ACT, may have taken the exam recently, are college students, and/or have experience tutoring! Responsibilities ? Plan, script, film, and edit at least 1 YouTube video per week about the ACT/SAT exams, college prep, college ethe strategies associated with the exams, skills tested, and general advice (see youtube.com/5academy to get an idea of what we post!) ? Create engaging thumbnails and descriptions for videos ? Optimize videos to drive traffic towards our free and paid features of our website ? Collaborating with team members to create new content ideas ? Engage in meetings at most weekly Skills ? Self-starter, problem solver, solution-driven, organized, creative ? Excellent verbal communication skills ? Comfortable speaking on camera ? Video editing capabilities Preferred qualifications (not required, but preferred) ? Understanding of the ACT test and its four sections: English, Math, Reading, Science ? 30+ ACT composite score ? Willingness to quickly learn skills and content that you may not understand via our online resources

Compensation

This role is task-based. The preliminary task at hand is to complete at least 1 video per week. For each completed video, we will provide you with $25/hr of compensation. Each video takes about 3-4 hours to complete, but you may take as long as you deem reasonable. You will also be eligible for weekly bonuses of up to $100 for videos that attain a signficant amount of views and rank well. We value quality, accuracy, and attention to detail in all of our work. In addition, if you decide to stay with us beyond a couple months, we'll provide you with equity. ?
