Software Engineer - SaaS Platform Development
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to contribute to an AWS-hosted SaaS platform. The primary focus is backend platform engineering: Java services, REST APIs, distributed systems, data models, integrations, reliability, and scalability. Full stack or client-side development experience is a plus for candidates who can flex across platform priorities. \n What you'll do:
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and modern service frameworks.
- Develop scalable cloud-native services, service-oriented architectures, and secure integrations.
- Work with AWS-hosted services, PostgreSQL, Redis, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and observability tools.
- Troubleshoot production issues, improve performance, and participate in root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with QA, SRE, product, DevOps, and other engineering teams on feature delivery and operational readiness.
What you'll bring:
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and modern service frameworks.

What you'll bring:
- Strong Java backend development experience and solid software engineering fundamentals.
- Experience designing REST APIs, distributed systems, data models, caching strategies, and service integrations.
- AWS cloud familiarity, especially EC2, ECS, API Gateway, RDS/PostgreSQL, Redis, IAM, networking, and deployment workflows.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, Linux command-line tooling, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance analysis.
- Ability to work independently in an Agile environment while collaborating across engineering disciplines.
Bonus to have Strong Plus: Full stack experience with React, Angular, Vue, Electron, WPF, or similar frameworks; Docker/Kubernetes; event-driven systems; real-time communications; VoIP/SIP exposure; geospatial or mapping technologies; AI-assisted development workflows.
