Hiring Unit: Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE) Course code and title: EDEM 628. Education Resource Management. Description: Explores the concepts and skills necessary to manage the human and financial resources of small organizations (schools, NGOs, departments). Among the areas explored are labour contracts, supervision, grant writing and fundraising, use of volunteers, managing site-based budgets. This course is not Team taught. This course is offered online. Term: Fall 2026 Credits: 3 credits Location: Online Schedule: Thursday, 05:35 pm-08:25 pm Teaching Qualification Requirements (TQRs): Education: 1. PhD or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g. Educational Leadership) required. 2. In exceptional cases, a Master's degree in a relevant field and extensive relevant experience will be considered. Experience: 1.Expert knowledge of: Theoretical principles, concepts and issues of educational resource management in institutional settings (e.g. schools, NGOs, departments). Diverse practical approaches to educational resource management in institutional settings Issues related to the day-to-day management of schools The relationship of educational resource management to broader conceptions of educational leadership 2. Experience teaching similar courses at the graduate courses. 3. Experience as a school administrator or equivalent, preferably in the Quebec education system Other: 1. Knowledge of the impact and proven record of integrating pedagogical approaches anchored in equity, diversity and inclusion 2. Familiarity using myCourses, Zoom, and other similar online platforms to facilitate quality teaching and learing experiences 3. Familiarity teaching blended classes is an asset 4.
