The Role

arenaflex is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Customer Experience team. In this role, you will design, develop, and own a world‑class Customer Support platform that handles a high volume of complex, multi‑modal support requests—from technical glitches to purchasing and logistics challenges—for both buyers and sellers. You will be responsible for creating intuitive user‑facing experiences, scaling internal tooling, and building intelligent automation that resolves thousands of customer issues per hour.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Architecting end‑to‑end solutions that translate ambiguous business problems into clear, maintainable technical designs.
  • Driving rapid delivery cycles while maintaining a focus on product impact, reliability, and technical excellence.
  • Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and support specialists to iterate on features that directly improve customer satisfaction.
  • Mentoring junior engineers, fostering an inclusive culture, and championing best practices across the team.

Team members are expected to be within commuting distance of our San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, or New York hubs, though flexible remote arrangements are supported for the right candidate.

Who You Are

  • Backend Expertise: Demonstrated ability to build end‑to‑end, high‑scale product experiences. Proficiency with Python and relational databases such as PostgreSQL is highly desirable.
  • Frontend & Mobile Acumen: Experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., Next.js) and/or native mobile development, enabling you to ship seamless, responsive interfaces.
  • Ownership Mindset: A track record of taking projects from concept through production and beyond, delivering high‑quality features at lightning speed.

Essential Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in fast‑moving startup or scale‑up environments.
