As a Remote Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, you will be the backbone of our trade reconciliation and corporate actions processes. Key Responsibilities
- Trade & Transfer Processing: Accurately enter trade orders, purchase requests, and transfer instructions into client accounts, ensuring each entry aligns with arenaflex’s internal standards.
- Reconciliation of Breaks: Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies between arenaflex and external partners (including fund administrators and transfer agents) for trades, dividends, and corporate actions.
- Corporate Actions Management: Process corporate events such as mergers, spin‑offs, stock splits, and dividend distributions, reconciling all related transactions.
- Regulatory Compliance: Support adherence to regulations such as Rule 2340 and Rule 15c3‑3 by documenting exceptions, preparing audit trails, and escalating issues when necessary.
- Issue Investigation & Root‑Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of complex or escalated problems, documenting findings and recommending system or procedural improvements.
- Testing & Validation: Participate in testing new technology enhancements and service updates, validating that changes function correctly before they are released to production.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, arenaflex’s internal portal, and arenaflex’s CRM platform to resolve client inquiries and coordinate with external partners.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear, concise records of all processed transactions, reconciliations, and issue resolutions for internal audit and compliance reviews.
- Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback on workflow efficiencies, suggest automation opportunities, and contribute ideas that enhance the overall data entry and reconciliation process.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong numerical aptitude and an eye for detail; ability to spot inconsistencies in large data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with internal teams and external partners.
