Position Overview – Customer Service Associate

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaxflex, you will be the front‑line ambassador for our guests, donors, and fellow team members. You will create memorable experiences, ensure smooth store operations, and uphold the high standards of service that define the arenaflex brand.

This role is available in both full‑time and part‑time capacities, offering flexible scheduling to accommodate a variety of lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers with a friendly, helpful attitude, ensuring each visit feels welcoming and personalized.
  • Assist donors in the intake process, accurately sorting, tagging, and pricing donated items according to arenaflex standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floors, including merchandising displays and signage.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale (POS) systems efficiently, handling cash, credit, and digital transactions with precision.
  • Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
  • Collaborate with inventory and logistics teams to ensure timely restocking and accurate inventory counts.
  • Participate in store opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and security checks.
  • Contribute to store initiatives such as promotional events, community outreach programs, and sustainability campaigns.
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and loss‑prevention policies, maintaining a secure environment for guests and staff.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to upsell and cross‑sell merchandise, supporting store sales goals.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Basic math proficiency for cash handling and pricing tasks.
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs as required.

Compensation & Benefits

arenaflex offers a competitive hourly wage that reflects the specific duties of each role. Starting pay ranges from $18.70 to $19.70 per hour, depending on the position and responsibilities. In addition to base pay, you will be eligible for performance‑based merit increases.
