The Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs has (1) full-time opportunity available for a Program Analyst 3 (Women Veterans Coordinator) located at ODVA Headquarters in Salem, Oregon in a hybrid (work from home/in-office work schedule). This is a permanent, union represented position within the Appeals & Special Advocacy Division.

What you will do! As ODVA’s Women Veterans Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective functioning and accountability of the organization’s fiscal operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinate ODVA’s statewide women veterans program to focus on identifying and
addressing barriers to women veteran’s access to benefits and resources
- Through direct engagement, ensure Oregon women veterans can access federal and state benefits, including:
- Monetary benefits
- Medical services
- Behavioral health services
- Other supportive resources that promote long-term well-being
- Lead proactive advocacy efforts on behalf of women veterans across the state
- Serve as a liaison with local, state, and federal partners regarding benefits and entitlements
- Advise executive leadership on key issues impacting women veterans
- Identify and work to eliminate systemic and practical barriers to benefit access
- Promote equitable access to earned benefits for women veterans throughout Oregon
