Our content focuses on literacy, primarily on grades Kindergarten through 2nd, with some occasional literacy resources and tips for older elementary grades. Important: This role requires that you have certified teaching experience in grades K-2, as well as experience in social media marketing. We are not able to make any exceptions to these requirements. - Track and reflect on our social media stats, making data-based decisions
- Take photos of our printable activities for social media
- Create Reels and other short videos of our printable activities for social media — you do not need to show your face in the Reels

- Simple editing of videos (e.g. adding captions, clipping videos)
- Write social media post captions
- Occasionally write simple marketing emails
We’ll have you work inside your project management tool, Asana, so we can assign you due dates and communicate about work. Our working hours are 8am through 4:30pm Central time. As a contractor, you complete work on YOUR own schedule, but we do need at least 1 hour overlap weekly with our schedule, so that you can meet with your manager. This role will not be the right fit if you already have a full-time job that you plan to continue working. Required Skills & Experience (must-haves):
- Located in the U.S.
- 3+ years of experience teaching Kindergarten, 1st grade, and/or 2nd grade as a certified classroom teacher

- Prior experience in marketing, with all or most of the responsibilities listed above
- Strong written skills, including an attention to detail and strong grammar skills
- Good sense of design and ability to adapt your design skills to match our brand
- A genuine desire to help teachers and share literacy tips, not just market products
