Event Promotion, Planning, and Marketing Internship (5-15hrs/week)

Role Description This is a remote internship role (approximately 5–15 hours per week) focused on event promotion, planning, and marketing for Kelly Tutors’ workshops and special events. The intern will assist with brainstorming and scheduling events (the goal is to have one-per-week over the summer + into the fall figure out a schedule), such as themed workshops, business fairs, and webinars, tailored to families and young learners.
- Daily responsibilities may include drafting promotional content for email, social media, and event listings; getting onto popular calendars to share awareness, using eventbrite/luma/facebook/etc to promote.
- The intern will also help gather customer feedback, analyze engagement metrics, and suggest improvements to event campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on experience in education-focused marketing, enjoys working with creative and entrepreneurial content, and is comfortable collaborating remotely.
Qualifications
- Strong Event Marketing skills to support planning, promoting, and evaluating online events, workshops, and launches.
- Foundational Marketing and Sales abilities to assist with campaigns, funnels, and converting interest into registrations.
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to engage families, respond to inquiries, and represent the brand positively.
- Comfort with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Google Workspace, project management platforms) and basic social media usage.
- Interest in education, youth entrepreneurship, or edutainment; prior experience in student clubs, events, or outreach is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and willingness to learn and take initiative in a fast-moving environment.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Communications, Education, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
