Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Assist with patient scheduling and appointments.
- Maintain EMR compliance with HIPPA.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally.
- Assist with onboarding new patients, collecting intake paperwork and consent forms.
- Process payments and manage invoices.
Medical Billing and Insurance
- Process claims through insurance portals, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
- Handle denials, appeals, and follow up on outstanding accounts.
- Track payments and reconcile accounts.
Requirements
- Previous experience in administrative healthcare or similar role and medical billing.
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Superb organizational and logistical skills
- Knowledge of insurance claims processing and EOB's (training avaiable).
- Proficiency with computers and software (experience with scheduling software, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and Word is a plus)
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this position is a proactive and forward go-getter who excels in customer service and smoothly manages medical billing for the company. You should be incredibly organized, capable of multitasking, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers. A positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional care and service to patients are a must.

Compensation
The compensation for this position will be $18 to $24 per hour, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. Opportunities for growth into a management position depending on performance.
