Vice President – Account Management
Job Description:
- Own overall relationship health, retention, and growth for assigned strategic provider accounts
- Lead executive-level engagement and multi-threaded relationships across customer organizations
- Develop and execute account strategies aligned to customers’ business objectives, market dynamics, and growth initiatives
- Drive renewals, renegotiations, and expansion opportunities in partnership with GTM and Finance
- Champion adoption of Datavant’s digital solutions, global workflows, and modernized operating models
- Proactively identify account risk and lead resolution of high-impact customer issues
- Translate operational performance into clear, value-based narratives for senior customer stakeholders
- Partner closely with Service Delivery to ensure transparency, alignment, and issue resolution
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Implementation, and Marketing to deliver on customer commitments
- Maintain accurate account plans, forecasts, and CRM documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 8–12+ years experience in healthcare account management, strategic sales, or services
- Proven success managing large, complex provider or enterprise customer relationships
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, including renewals, pricing, and margin considerations
- Deep understanding of healthcare provider environments and HIPAA-regulated services
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50–75%
