Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Customer Coordinator, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing inbound and outbound collection and recovery calls to ensure timely and effective resolution of customer issues
- Providing exceptional customer service in English and Spanish, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Conducting account-level research to identify and resolve customer issues, and to provide accurate and timely information to customers
- Overcoming objections and helping customers understand their account(s) and responsibilities, ensuring that customers are aware of their obligations and are taking the necessary steps to resolve their accounts
- Staying up-to-date with company guidelines and procedures, including computer-based training, classroom training, timecards, email, and other relevant systems
- Attending team meetings to stay informed about company updates, best practices, and performance metrics
- Updating account information and completing relevant documentation to ensure accurate reporting on accounts
- Consistently meeting or exceeding business metrics on a month-to-month basis, adhering to regulatory requirements, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Basic Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification + At least 3 years of customer service or call center experience + At least 1 year of experience using Google Suite or Microsoft Office + Fluency in Spanish and English
- Preferred Qualifications:
+ At least 4 years of customer service or call center experience + At least 1 year of experience in the financial industry + At least 1 year of collections experience
Work from Home Technology Requirements
To ensure a seamless and secure work-from-home experience, you'll need to meet the following requirements:
- A secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions
- A reliable private internet connection that is not supplied via cellular data or hotspot
- A private network that is password-protected, with ownership or line of sight to every device on the network
- Internet service provided by a Cable or Fiber Internet Service Provider (ISP)
- ISP download speeds on VPN must be at least 5Mbps, with 10+ Mbps preferred
- Both hardwire and WiFi internet connections are acceptable as long as speed and security requirements are met
- Capital One reserves the right to request proof of internet provider, speed, and service package from the associate
