Job Summary

We're looking for a skilled Documentation Specialist to create comprehensive customer support documentation for our SaaS platform. As a key member of our support team, you'll be responsible for developing high-quality documentation that will educate and empower our users to get the most out of our platform. Your primary focus will be on creating Microsoft Word documentation that will be used to support our users, helping them to overcome common challenges and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop comprehensive customer support documentation for our SaaS platform, including user guides, FAQs, and troubleshooting resources

  • Create high-quality Microsoft Word documentation that is easy to understand, visually appealing, and free of errors
  • Collaborate with our support team to identify areas where documentation is needed and prioritize documentation projects accordingly
  • Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and platform updates, ensuring that our documentation is accurate and relevant
  • Work closely with our product team to ensure that documentation is aligned with product features and functionality
  • Review and revise existing documentation to ensure it remains accurate and relevant
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive documentation style guide to ensure consistency across all documentation
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to develop marketing materials and campaigns that promote our platform and support resources
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss documentation projects, share knowledge, and provide feedback

Essential Qualifications

* 2+ years of experience in creating customer support documentation for software applications or SaaS platforms

  • Proven experience with Microsoft Word and other documentation tools
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent research skills, with the ability to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review and revise documentation to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

* Experience with SaaS platforms and software applications

  • Knowledge of documentation management tools and systems
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems
  • Certification in technical writing or a related field
