About the Role
As a Data Entry Clerk in our logistics operations team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data processing, supporting various departments to facilitate seamless business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter data into computer systems accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality data that meets our quality standards.
- Verify the accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents, identifying and correcting errors, and implementing process improvements.
- Update existing data, ensuring that our databases are up-to-date and reflect the latest information.
- Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested, providing timely and accurate responses to internal stakeholders.
- Perform regular data backups to ensure data preservation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Generate reports and respond to inquiries or requests for information, providing excellent customer service and support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and computer skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a keen eye for spotting errors and inconsistencies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking initiative and ownership of your work.
