Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Customer Service Engineer II to join our team in Clifton, NJ. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on all arenaflex Healthcare Diagnostics instrumentation (primarily Automation products) at customer sites with minimal supervision. You will also be responsible for delivering timely and effective repairs, as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

* Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all arenaflex Healthcare Diagnostics instrumentation (primarily Automation products) at customer sites with minimal supervision.

  • Deliver timely and effective repairs, as well as adequate training of operators to ensure optimal system performance, resulting in superior customer satisfaction.
  • Manage financial performance within your territory, meeting or exceeding budget for revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
  • Manage company assets, including a company car, cell phone, computer, tools, inventory parts, etc.
  • Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties accurately.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and improve customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications

* Minimum high school diploma; technical Associate's Degree or equivalent preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing diagnostic instruments.
  • Proficient in the use of tools and service test equipment, with the ability to work both individually and in an established team setting.
  • Excellent judgment in customer relations and in managing company resources.
  • Strong competency in instrument systems technology, including mechanics, electrical, chemistry, and software technology.
  • Experience with electronics, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering).

  • Experience with arenaflex Healthcare Diagnostics instrumentation (primarily Automation products).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, peers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with inventory management and financial analysis.
  • Certification in a related field (e.g., biomedical engineering, medical technology).

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

* The annual base pay for this position is: Min $70,700 - Max $106,100.

  • Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • If this is a commission eligible position, the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan.
  • Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
