Key Responsibilities

As a Chat Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Handling customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services
  • Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments
  • Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review
  • Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of evolving products and services
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer satisfaction

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Training and Development: Ability to attend 4 weeks of training, Tuesday - Saturday, 10am-6:30pm CST
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (preferred but not necessary)
  • Technical Skills: Basic internet and window-based computer skills
  • Multitasking and Adaptability: Strong ability to multitask (gaming experience is helpful) and adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Positive and professional demeanor, excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze customer issues, identify solutions, and provide effective resolutions

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, communications, or marketing) preferred

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the automotive industry
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and its products and services
  • Certification in customer service or a related field (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR))
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
