Key Responsibilities
As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:
- Handling inbound and outbound calls, delivering exceptional customer service experiences consistently
- Managing customer accounts and providing technical support
- Entering application data accurately and efficiently
- Responding to online chat inquiries as assigned
- Interpreting and following defined procedures and policies
- Utilizing creative problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues
- Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing projects and updates
- Managing time and tasks effectively, prioritizing multiple responsibilities
- Completing extensive self-study, training, and testing to ensure eligibility for certifications
- Adhering to regulated guidelines for communications via all channels
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Moderate to advanced computer skills, with a high level of comfort learning new technology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of professionalism
- Comfort working from home, with a self-motivated and success-driven attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Strong time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test within 3 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, previous experience in customer support or technical support roles, as well as experience with Group and/or Individual health insurance, or the Affordable Care Act, would be beneficial. Familiarity with CRM systems and practices, as well as Spanish bilingual skills, are also a plus.

Work Environment and Culture
As a remote employee, you'll have the flexibility to work from home, with a dedicated, private, and secure workspace. You'll need to have a personal device with a functioning camera for the training period, as well as a minimum internet speed of 35 mb/s with an ethernet connection. Cable/fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired ethernet connection is required, and mobile internet service providers and satellites are not compatible with our internal systems.
