A Day in the Role
As a Data Entry Clerk (2nd Shift) with arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing batches of work by extracting checks and remittances from envelopes
- Operating Imaging/Extraction equipment (OPEX 50/51/60, OPEX 7200, OPEX 150)
- Inputting data into the system while following standard operating procedures and customer-specific instructions for processing
- Verifying negotiability of checks through customer-specific instructions for processing
- Analyzing all transactions to ensure payments are properly processed
- Re-associating check images to corresponding material while validating quality of images
- Maintaining site productivity and quality standards
- Occasionally lifting and moving mail trays
- Contributing to meeting team goals in addition to individual responsibilities
- Flexibility and willingness to cross-train and learn all job functions in operations
- Making judgment calls regarding routine duties but referring non-routine situations to a supervisor and/or manager
- Recommending procedural and workflow changes to enhance quality and productivity
Work Environment
As a Data Entry Clerk (2nd Shift) with arenaflex, you can expect:
- A 40-hour work week
- A business casual environment
- Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm
- Located in Valley Cottage, NY
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and productivity
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry software
- Ability to lift and move mail trays occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
