Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Support Specialist at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Providing exceptional support to our users through various channels, including chat, email, and phone
- Handling user account requests, including application processing, card disputes, missing payments, card shipments, and more
- Teaching customers how to use our products and services, and translating user confusion into product suggestions
- Identifying systemic flaws that lead to user problems and working with our engineering team to resolve them
- Communicating user needs to our partner banks and collaborating with them to improve their products and processes
- Writing help articles and FAQs to enhance user experience
- Learning our internal tools and improving them to increase efficiency
- Developing processes to streamline your work and improve customer satisfaction
- Collaborating with other teams to ensure seamless customer support and operations
- Building and sustaining warm relationships with our users
- Contributing to the growth and development of our customer support and operations infrastructure
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in a Customer Experience or Customer Support role
- Fintech experience and knowledge of banking and financial systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise empathy and compassion in high-pressure situations
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Experience with automation and process improvement
- Proficiency in using internal tools and software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Experience working in a startup or fintech environment
- Knowledge of banking and financial regulations

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
arenaflex offers a competitive total rewards package that includes:
- Base salary: $60,000 - $67,500 USD (New York City, Los Angeles, Seattle, or San Francisco Bay Area) or $54,000 - $60,800 USD (US employees outside of these areas) or CAD 56,700 - 63,800 (Canadian employees)
