Job Summary

As a Data Entry Clerk / Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for analyzing and processing sensitive information, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality. You'll work closely with our team to review legal demands, code them for proper routing, and apply standard practices and policies in naming the documents for proper handling. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze documents submitted by law enforcement, private attorneys, and pro se litigants, including court orders, search warrants, subpoenas, and preservation letters

  • Apply standard practices and policies in naming the documents for proper handling
  • Code documents for proper routing within Legal and Emergency Response
  • Review and process sensitive information with high accuracy and confidentiality
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and efficient processing of documents
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

* 7+ years of relevant experience in data entry, document management, or a related field

  • Strong computer literacy and typing skills, with a minimum of 45 words per minute and 5,000 keystrokes
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

* Formal training or experience in reading legal demands

  • Experience working with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
  • Knowledge of document management systems and software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
