Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Online Chat Representative to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our customer support and sales team, you'll be responsible for responding to live chat messages on our clients' websites, providing exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth through our online chat platform. Key Responsibilities
* Respond to live chat messages on our clients' websites, providing exceptional customer service and resolving simple problems
- Answer customer questions, provide sales links, and offer discounts to drive sales growth
- Help customers find the information they need and process their orders successfully
- Work independently, following instructions and using your own initiative to resolve issues
- Utilize our online chat platform, including Squarespace and social media, to engage with customers and drive sales growth
- Collaborate with our team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., customer service, sales, marketing) preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a sales or customer support environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues independently
- Proficient in using online chat platforms, including Squarespace and social media
- Reliable internet connection and a device that can access social media and website chat functions (e.g., phone, tablet, laptop)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends (20-30 hours per week)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in the aviation industry or a related field
- Knowledge of sales and marketing principles, with a focus on customer acquisition and retention
- Certification in customer service or sales (e.g., Certified Customer Service Representative, Certified Sales Professional)
- Experience using CRM software and other sales and marketing tools
