Job Summary
As a Customs Trade Coordinator at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods across international borders. You will be responsible for processing and managing customs documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
* Provide accurate and timely customs clearance for shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws
- Process and manage customs documentation, including import and export declarations, certificates of origin, and commercial invoices
- Coordinate with internal teams, including operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and execution
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies, to resolve issues and ensure compliance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, including documentation, tracking numbers, and delivery status
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support to meet their needs and exceed their expectations
- Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations, laws, and procedures, and ensure compliance with all relevant requirements
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as international business, logistics, or supply chain management
- At least 6 months of experience in customs trade, data entry, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations, laws, and procedures, including Harmonized System (HS) codes and commercial invoices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and customers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues and make sound decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with customs software, such as Customs Management System (CMS) or Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, including Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and tariffs
- Experience with data entry and management, including tracking and reporting
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility
