Experienced Customer Support Specialist – CPC Processor I – Data Management and Release of Information

Key Responsibilities
As a CPC Processor I, you will be responsible for:
- Answering and conducting business on the telephone while maintaining excellent Customer Service, including answering release of information related telephone calls and inquiries accurately and timely.
- Reviewing, researching, resolving, and responding to inquiries that are received via telephone, email, or written correspondence.
- Documenting all calls, inquiries, and resolution in detail in appropriate areas of our software systems.
- Following all department and/or site-specific processes and procedures accordingly.
- Meeting and maintaining the department's productivity and quality assurance expectations.
- Maintaining confidentiality by keeping all information seen and heard within the boundaries of the role in the strictest confidence.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and good rapport with co-workers and members of management.
- Performing work in accordance with the training and direction provided and adhering to facility-specific procedures.
- Attending mandatory employee in-service meetings and/or training sessions, if so directed.
- Maintaining an acceptable attendance record and reporting to work as scheduled.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institute recognized by the State Department of Education.
- A friendly, professional manner of communication and good customer service skills.
- Experience with multi-line phone systems and computer proficiency, including knowledge of MS-Office at an intermediate/advanced level.
- One year of experience in data entry, medical records, healthcare, insurance claims processing, or proofreading/editing of documents would be beneficial.
- The ability to stay organized while working quickly and strong attention to detail.
- Passing annual Introductory HIPAA examination.
- Passing a 90-day ROI Certification course with a score of 85% or higher.
